Howdy, so this arvo I got bored and have gone through and added all the links to most of the parts I have for the Hilux, so if anyone's interested in any of the stuff that I have, the links are there. A few things were bought second hand or don't have a website to buy from so I've just put the generic information page.
Cheers👌

I had the amazingly stupid thought that it'd be a good idea to spend a weekend ripping the whole car apart and giving it a "new" chassis.

Wire wheeled, painted and then installed in 2 very long, KFC powered days...

Superior Engineering is a renowned Australian company specializing in the design, manufacture, and retail of premium 4WD suspension and 4x4 accessories. Established in 2002, the company has grown from a home-based operation to one of the largest and most respected manufacturers and distributors in the industry.

Company History and Growth

Superior Engineering started in Warner, Queensland, with a single product—a shackle made from Australian steel designed to provide additional flex for 4WD vehicles. The popularity of this product led to the expansion of their product line to include a wide range of 4WD suspension parts and accessories. In 2022, the company moved to a new, purpose-built 3000 square meter facility in Burpengary, Queensland, to accommodate its growing operations.

Product Range

Superior Engineering offers a comprehensive range of 4WD products, including:

Suspension Components: Coil springs, leaf springs, shock absorbers, control arms, radius arms, and steering dampers.
Accessories: Bull bars, chassis repair plates, air compressors, e-lockers, exhaust systems, snorkels, roof racks, and recovery gear.
Custom Solutions: Custom valved shocks, coil conversion kits, and bespoke suspension setups tailored to specific vehicle requirements.

Manufacturing and Quality

The company's manufacturing capabilities are extensive, featuring state-of-the-art machinery for metal fabrication, CNC lathe work, laser cutting, and more. Superior Engineering prides itself on using high-quality Australian steel and maintaining rigorous quality control standards. This commitment to quality has earned them several awards, including Best Product under $1500 for their Patented Super Flex Radius Arms and Best Product under $500 for their Patented Drop Shackles.

Innovation and R&D

Superior Engineering invests heavily in research and development to continually innovate and improve their product offerings. Their in-house engineering and design team focuses on creating products that meet the unique demands of the Australian off-road market. This includes developing new suspension technologies and enhancing existing products to ensure superior performance and durability.

Customer Support and Distribution

Superior Engineering provides extensive customer support through their dedicated sales team and comprehensive showroom in Burpengary. They also have a strong distribution network across Australia and internationally, ensuring that their products are accessible to a wide range of customers. The company offers both their own branded products and a selection of 4WD accessories from other leading brands.

Superior Engineering stands out in the 4WD industry for its commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Their extensive product range, state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities, and strong focus on local production make them a preferred choice for off-road enthusiasts in Australia and beyond.

Customer Service Ratings for Superior Engineering

Superior Engineering's customer service is highly rated by the majority of its customers.

The company has an impressive overall rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars from 289 reviews, with customer service specifically rated at 5.0[1]. This high rating reflects a general satisfaction with the support and assistance provided by the company.

Positive Feedback

1. Knowledgeable and Helpful Staff:
   - Many customers have praised the expertise and helpfulness of the staff. For example, a customer from Perth mentioned that Timothy B. was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in advising on the selection of a lift kit, which met their requirements perfectly.
   - Another review highlighted excellent communication and personal service, with staff providing updates and options when products were out of stock.

2. Efficient Problem Resolution:
   - When issues arose, such as parts not fitting correctly, customers reported that the company was quick to address and resolve the problems to their satisfaction. For instance, a customer mentioned that Ben from Superior Engineering promptly sorted out an issue with a handbrake upgrade kit.

3. Quick Delivery and Follow-Up:
   - Superior Engineering has been commended for its fast delivery times and proactive communication. Customers appreciated being informed about the status of their orders and receiving their products promptly[2].

Negative Feedback

1. Unhelpful Customer Support:
Despite the overall positive feedback, one customer reported that the staff were not interested in assisting with an issue and tried to pass off responsibility to the supplier.

2. Stock and Availability Issues:
Some customers experienced problems with product availability after placing orders. For example, one customer was informed that half of their order was out of stock only after payment was made, resulting in delays and additional shipping costs.

While Superior Engineering's customer service is generally rated very highly, with most customers praising the helpfulness, knowledge, and efficiency of the staff, there are occasional complaints regarding unhelpful support and stock availability issues.

Any company, even a perfect one would recieve negative reviews so I wouldn't use the small amount of negatives as an indication of your likely experience. And like most companies they're always looking to improve on this stuff, and operating in a high-demand product because of the exceptional quality they'll always have availability issues. I just bring this up so you're aware of it, incase you think it's all sunshine and roses that you see from the vids of people kitting their whole care out with superior.
